it' the things you would never expect, a boy, a man, going to visit his mother in her kindergarten class that make me pray every day to live an ordinary life. I started that prayer when my extraordinary father became ill with an extraordinary disease. He stayed with us for 10 year despite the death sentence (6 months) he never shared, but somewhere along the way my montra became, please let me (and my children) live 'ordinary' live. I miss him every day. I think his version would be, be grateful for every day you have, his enthusiasm for life and his wisdom continues to fuel me nearly a decade after his death.
