Last year handguns killed; 48 People in Japan, 8 Great Britain, 34 Switzerland, 52 Canada, 58 Israel, 21 Sweden, 10,728 in The United States. For the sake of its own people America really needs to do the maths finally.

You see what countries you are comparing the US to as an argument? It's that kind of thinking which is the problem to be honest. The US should be looking at the figures I quoted Europe, Japan, Canada -- not to Russia, or North Korea for solace in the nost murderous nations stakes.
