OMG, L2Fly, when I read the first sentence, I cracked up thinking it was your mother-in-law who just wouldn't expire. Yes, dairy of all things must go within days of expiration date. YUK!
Bevvie - I really like this. I have had certain friendships with expiration dates. It was heartbreaking at the time for us to each go our own way, but necessary. Thanks for helping to define that process.
L2Fly - I was in your spot almost 2.5 years ago, broke up with boyfriend and also broke up with 3 friends, of whom I was the fourth. It all just dovetailed at the same time and I'll tell you the thuth, I missed one of the friends far more than the boyfriend. It was a very dark and sad time for me, but you have to let go of the old to let in the new. After two months, I got my act together and built a whole new social life for myself and I'm very happy. Life has a funny way of leading us (sometimes kicking and screaming) to where we need to be. The moral of this story? You'll be fine, give it some time, there is a mourning process and a light at the end of the tunnel. Good luck.
