Soooooooo . . . if I understand this procedure correctly, you throw your mother-in-law into a shark tank. Her arrival causes the sharks to immediately jump out of the tank – doing so, knowing they will endure agonizing death on dry land, but preferring this fate. Correct?FinchGirl says,
