Of course I studiously avoid malls, but haven't heard any on the radio. I'm thinkng that the stations that switch over to Christmas music are waiting until 12/1 to start. Ah, the blessings of an early Thanksgiving:-D
There are two in my area that switch to Christmas format at Thanksgiving...I have been avoiding them like the plague. Too soon. That said, it won't be Christmas for me until I hear The Boss sing "Santa Claus Is Comin' To Town."
Two stations by me have also switched already. The thing that I used to love about Christmas music was that you had to wait to hear it. Now it is omnipresent. It's not special anymore.
don't worry it's out there, must confess I enjoy the lights the more over the top the better as long as it's not across the street from me (keeping me up all night) and I don't have to pay the electric bill.
these six words leapt out from the sermon I heard in church this morning. Thanks Pastor Jodi. (I attend a Baptist church which has two lady ministers on the pastoral team.)We can live with peace and joy no matter...
