A kindred spirit! I do the same. In fact, sometimes I return the carts of OTHER shoppers. So sad. Apparently, a lot of folks only have 20 hours in their day – or fewer. Rush, rush, rush . . . to get home and watch TV. I have seen carts bunched inside the parking space RIGHT NEXT to the chute used to collect them. Huh?!?! Ten seconds is too much time to spare? So inconsiderate.
I cannot say what Americans' increasing impatience portends, but I fear it is not good. (No contractions in this blurb. I figured I had time to write. Perhaps, you have time to read.)
