Maybe there was something in the peace pipes they smoked with the indians. I bet there was some "special stuff" in those pipes. I'd take a few drags on it for sure.
I read a novel that I can't remember the name of. There were several by this author and they were quite good. I gave them away they were so good--you know, to share. They took place in the New World and it just seemed so difficult. No heat, strange food, far from home, probably never to return. Like Jl333 said, it is a time I would never want to have lived, but I'm grateful someone did!
Finally remembered: Virgin Earth, by Phillipa Gregory. I always wondered how they washed and dried their clothes. I have a hard enough time with a washer and dryer.
these six words leapt out from the sermon I heard in church this morning. Thanks Pastor Jodi. (I attend a Baptist church which has two lady ministers on the pastoral team.)We can live with peace and joy no matter...
