I'm already sick of Christmas music.

TheAngstyPoet says,

I cannot stand Christmas music until two weeks before Christmas. & Once Christmas is over the music should stop too. My mother called me in the library the other day just to inform me that Christmas music was already playing on the radio just trying to push my buttons ;)

Heem08 says,

The Christmas music started like a week earlier. Seems like Christmas comes earlier each year.

Believe says,

I'm a piano teacher. I've been teaching it since September. Was tired of it by October.

Savita says,

Yeah, I've switched away from my usual radio station for one that isn't playing Christmas music. It's not even Thanksgiving yet!!

Bevvie says,

kudos on the MOTD! guess I'm one of those weirdos who loves Christmas music 24/7! ;-)

MsKillie says,

I agree! Xmas music gives me a headache. This is why I shop online...

Loon says,

i just want to my old front teeth

Level1 says,

Me too!!!

jl333 says,

Congrats on MOTD! And by the way, one local store was playing the music along with selling Christmas stuff before Halloween!

Savita says,

Thanks!!

Ugh, I won't listen to Christmas music until day of.
Ick, that's way too early.

TeaTopper says,

Same goes for the decorations. I liked it better when we put up the tree and stuff for Christmas week only, not for a month or more. It seemed more special.

favepeep says,

Congrat on MOTD! One of my complaints is that they really only play "holiday" music, not Christmas carols. I'm not religious, but I did grow up loving so many carols, like O Holy Night, Little Drummer Boy and The First Noel. I can only only listen to Jingle Bells, Rehearing Santa Baby,

favepeep says,

oops! I hit submit too soon. As I was saying, I like the old-fashioned carols and some new ones, too, for example, Amy Grant and Kathy Mattea have wonderful carols on their CDs and do a great job singing them, but you hear very few of their Christmas songs. Stepping off soap box...

Dragonflower says,

One of my favorite things was our 24 hours of Christmas music played on the classical music station in our area. It started on Christmas eve and played without commercials through midnight of Christmas day. I looked forward to that every year. It was beautiful. They are not on the air anymore, which makes me sad. I completely agree about the music in the stores--it isn't really Christmas music but just noise in my opinion. It starts way to early. Santa was in the mall taking pictures before Thanksgiving. I need to go watch Miracle on 34th street and get the magic back!

wackjob says,

rum bum bum bum

Dhani says,

Why would you? Santa's coming to town!
