Party today. Channeling Audrey in black-n-white.

Backstory

Remember the days when people...women especially...actually dressed for even casual afternoon events? I might be a trend of one, followed by none...but I'm okay with that.

I have family members who will show up at Thanksgiving in glorified pajamas. I will never understand this.

Have channeled Audrey on more than one occasion. I'm with Mary - I don't understand the lack of decorum and dress. My daughter and I recently attended an afternoon performance of Pride and Prejudice and we both remarked how beautifully people were dressed. It didn't occur to either of us until later that it was 'a senior matinée' . We decided we will make a point of taking in the senior matinees - thereby avoiding the jammie pants and/or jeans crowd.
