Backstory
It's all just costume jewelry. Cheap, thrift store treasures, but each piece makes me smile. I have three pearl necklaces, and I wear them almost exclusively of any other pieces. The single strand is dainty and sweet, and dresses up any simple outfit. The double strand is a little more flashy...it's tied with a ribbon, which adds a bit of romance to the look.But the thick heavy rope of shiny orbs that can be tripled makes a bold statement. It sets off the neckline of every dress or blouse and says, "here I am" in no uncertain terms.
Today, that is the message I want to send.
