marymc says,

There is no normal. Everyone's got their shit.

sisterpoet says,

An old memoir of mine:
New normal: euphamism for fucked up

Mary is right, again:)

The journey is really never over. Each turn presents a new oppurtunity to find peace in the now in whatever it looks like. I find there are just pockets of down time and glimpses of normal or what I think is normal or what I want or what will make me happy and then something comes along to FORCE me to examine and adjust and refine. There is no rest for the weary sister. Chin up

BecomingLogyn says,

As much as I wish (and hope) for a simpler more "normal" life I know it's not going to happen, because fact is I'm still the kid that's trying to figure out who he is and how to get out of bad situations and circumstances.
And I know normal isn't actually real so I dunno... a boy can hope though

ba_miracle says,

Having a normal life "just once" will only serve to torture you.
I understand the sentiment behind that longing.

"normal" is an odd word when applied to a human life.
I hope you come to have some some peace with whatever life brings...I hope that for all of us.
