I say: Turn Vatican gold over to the victims and the pedophiles over to justice. The lawyers? Some of them need to turn over a new leaf. Just some. But, in truth, they're victims, too. Of stereotyping. The quasi-true "crime" we all commit – while it's simultaneously being committed against us.
So what is the President going to do? People are fools to mess up so badly when so many would love their jobs and do them well. This is making me sick. It seems over and over again. Why are they not monitored as we all are on our jobs? National Security should be our number 1 priority.
As has already been observed by some pundits, this story is rife with irony – if not farce. How is it, we ask, that the best and the brightest – who are charged with national security at the highest levels – could be so foolhardy as to act like smitten teenagers? Hard lessons learned all around this time. Until, that is, next time, when it happens to a new batch of smart people, who say to themselves, "That won't happen to me."
BTW – Ever wonder about the impact on world poverty and hunger if the media were to focus on those issues the way they love to slobber all over sex scandals?
Sex Scandals: Still, the "lightweight" heavyweight champion of the news! (Let's get ready to grumble.)
CNN has more of a worldwide audience than do the other cable news networks. That means it behooves them to provide programming with a more universal appeal. Especially on the weekends, when not much politically is happening stateside. Also, covering world poverty, hunger, and child slavery helps fill out a 24/7 schedule. Nonetheless, the network should be commended for devoting time to these subjects.
I watch a lot of MSNBC's programming. However, I find it sad that their weekends are deluged with "behind the bars" and "caught on camera" shows. But I know it's money that makes those decisions. Even so, incarcerated men and women shouldn't be forgotten, either. If for no other reason than their visibility is a constant reminder that some knuckleheads in society don't want to work for an honest dollar. Thankfully, the decidedly less than first-class accommodations make a lasting impression on others, and they earnestly decide to walk out, and walk the straight and narrow – so as to never walk back.
I suppose you can call that rehabilitation. Though, I think the more appropriate term is self-revelation.
these six words leapt out from the sermon I heard in church this morning. Thanks Pastor Jodi. (I attend a Baptist church which has two lady ministers on the pastoral team.)We can live with peace and joy no matter...

Yep. Seems that way so far. But I do hope societal sexism doesn't prevail, so as to make it a "ban her" year.Dhani says,
Pedophiles & their victims earn them lots of gold too...Staraj says,

CNN has presented many stories & instituted projects to ease world poverty, hunger & child slavery. They seem always to be 'ahead of the pack'.Staraj says,

The Planet still equates PUNISHMENT with rehabilitation.
