After having to get up on a ladder, with unsteady legs and a very long piece of PVC pipe, to knock the snow off the satellite dish, I had a very freeing conversation with a neighbor. Told me that they just coat the dish with cooking spray so that the snow doesn't stick. Sent husband up to complete that mission. I hope it's a once per winter kind of event.
