My dad, sister and I do too, it's kinda funny because they mean differently for each of us, haven't quite figured out which ones mean what except for when mine get black I shouldn't really be around people.
My daughter's father was the first one to make me really notice the change. (he used to bring me just to the brink of pissed-offness and enjoy the color change from blue to green...in the middle of an argument sometimes ;-) I 've also been told I look bigger (like a puff-fish). Face gets flush, pupils constrict, hair looks wilder/redder...lol what a site.
Usually they are an unremarkable color (except that my daughter loves them :-). Blue rimmed going to stormy or lighter green in the middle.
I've learned a lot in the 20 years since then. I don't argue when angry (which I'm told can be frustrating).
I spent a lifetime learning to overcome that type of anger but have come to appreciate that it would be accessible in a time of real need.
these six words leapt out from the sermon I heard in church this morning. Thanks Pastor Jodi. (I attend a Baptist church which has two lady ministers on the pastoral team.)We can live with peace and joy no matter...

My husband does as well. Gray eyes mean its time for me to go away. The gray eyed version is not exactly kind.BecomingLogyn says,
