"November Night," a poem for Halloween...

Backstory

NOVEMBER NIGHT
(A cinquain)

Listen . . .
With faint dry sound,
Like steps of passing ghosts,
The leaves, frost-crisp'd, break from the trees
And fall.

-- Adelaide Crapsey (1878-1914),
American poet
