Knock on the door. Ask questions?

Backstory

My dad died when I was a baby. I've heard a few snippets about him, but not much. There are two pictures of him that I know of, but haven't seen in years. He would be in in 70's now. Yesterday, I found out that an acquaintance is married to one of my dad's best friends. I've seen this man walking around town with his dogs for years and have shared the nodded passing. I so want to knock on their door and listen to some stories.

I say go for it. I'm sure your Dad's friend would love to share some memories.

Totally should.

Yes! Knock (or call/send a letter first) don't be too disappointed if he doesn't want to talk but how exciting if he does :-)

ena says,

I think so too :)

You'll find some special things.
("you" means MO_Thoughts2, your father and your acquaintance...all!)
