Chewink is another name for the eastern towhee. Its call note is a sharp nasal "chwink." Its song is usually two short notes followed by a trill, "Drink-your-teeeeeeee" (drink your tea). I have never considered the eastern towhee my "totem" animal. I like its song because I like to drink tea. It's a beautiful bird.e.towhee says,
