Replacing shaken ground with firm foundation

Backstory

Foo Fighters should not make the listener cry as a matter of course. Yet, any given day at any given time I will burst, burst I say, into tears at the sound of " one of these days the ground will fall out from beneath your feet" I have lived those words. Everything was a matter of time before this or that would happen and the this or that was never good. So today with the prospect of stability in many forms, my heart and mind can't accept it so easily. My ears are tuned to hear distant rumbles. My body braces for the earthquake. My soul can't rest.

Strength comes in many forms and it takes strength to ignore the naysayers. Be strong for your own sake ...

The naysayer Is none other than myself. I whip myself into a frenzy pretty easily without the help of anyone else, this all about the self talk

I rarely say this but I fully understand. I hope you get to enjoy the good freely someday.
