"Your mom makes cookies? At home?"
BackstoryNod to HopesInPain ... cookie talk.
My daughter takes cookies occasionally in her lunch with a few extra to share. Home made from scratch cookies. Some will ask her where she buys them and she responds with "Mom makes them". With that response she sometimes gets a perplexed look. Then that look is usually followed by a "your mom loves me, right?" with a plea of more cookies. How can I deny a kid (even if I've never met them)the pleasure of a home made cookie.
PS. Tonights batch ....chocolate mint chip.
