"Your mom makes cookies? At home?"
Backstory
Nod to HopesInPain ... cookie talk.My daughter takes cookies occasionally in her lunch with a few extra to share. Home made from scratch cookies. Some will ask her where she buys them and she responds with "Mom makes them". With that response she sometimes gets a perplexed look. Then that look is usually followed by a "your mom loves me, right?" with a plea of more cookies. How can I deny a kid (even if I've never met them)the pleasure of a home made cookie.
PS. Tonights batch ....chocolate mint chip.

mmmm....sounds delicious! And seriously, nobody out here has time to make cookies from scratch! Impressive.MO_Thoughts2 says,
Ah, they don't take long. Tonight's batch (4 dozen) took about 45 minutes. And most of that is waiting time while they are baking and cooling. While they are baking, I clean up the kitchen, watch a tv show, do some household chores (dishes or fold laundry), etc. -- things I would be doing anyhow. I make 3 to 6 batches of cookies a month :-)marymc says,
