DynamicDbytheC says,

Powerful memoir and a ride that many of us have taken.

Sagacious says,

I'll bet! I have chronic injuries that can be kept under control by doing the appropriate physio exercises. When I get complacent and stop putting in the work, THATS when trouble strikes.

Steve__Anthony says,

You come up with some of the best stuff on this site.

Sagacious says,

Thanks, mate. Pain's pretty good at driving the creative process. :-)

Steve__Anthony says,

Sorry for your pain. Wishing you a brilliant recovery.

canadafreeze says,

Very powerful, indeed. The price is high when you don't do regular maintenance ...

Sagacious says,

All good. My pain's more emotional than anything, by my problems are nothing compared to what I'm seeing on THIS website and in other places. It sure puts things into their proper perspective.

DynamicDbytheC says,

Pain is pain no matter what the source.

AQScott says,

Agreed...anyone over 40 has been in THIS car before. CF's right... regular maintenance is the key to ensuring a smooth ride in the driver's seat! Hopefully now, the only thing in the back seat will be that precious little one :)

notjustagirlintheworld says,

well played!

Sagacious says,

Enjoying looking at the handful of photos that I have of "that precious little one" is the best I can hope for any time soon, but even having THOSE is a joy that I could only have dreamed of a short time ago.

Believe says,

Well, Sag, I have three points to hit on:
1. That is indeed a precious little one. I am wishing baby steps in regards to that subject for you.
2. This is a great memoir; probably one of my all-time favorites of yours.
3. I have been in that same car and I, too, did not enjoy that particular journey.
