Doc says running's okay. We'll see.

Backstory

I went to the Dr. today about my wrist, which has been nagging me for about a month, and my knee, which started hurting while I was running last week. Since I'm set to run an 8.4 mile leg of a the Atlanta Relay Marathon on Oct. 28th, I wanted to make sure I haven't injured myself. Fortunately, the sawbones says that it's probably just tendonitis, and that I should be fine with icing it and popping naproxen sodium twice daily. I hope he's right. In other news, the pain has absolutely NOTHING to do with my age. Remember, I'm younger than I once was.

Well you won't be any younger...

You'll do great! - just take some natural 'meds': focus on your well being, tell your body it will all be OK.

Good luck on the relay, Dean. I'd like to know how that reverse aging works sometime too!

Believe says,

I KNIT!!! And I am not ancient! Plus, knitting could hurt his wrists, Dynamic! It's a dangerous hobby. Hope you feel better soon, Dean. Try going gluten free till the race. You will be shocked at the difference in how your joints feel. On a related note, did you receive my pie crust recipe?
