It's not the book itself, it's more the assignment attached to it. Seeing the cockroach as a metaphor for Kafka makes so much more sense. Thanks!

what rabbit said! I have taught this story for many years. I love it for its imagery, There is a film for it that I found online(not real people however. more like a comic strip).
