Got everything I wanted: I'm boring!
Backstory
This probably sounds strange to most people, but I've been saying for years, "I just want to be boring." For the first time in a long, long time, there's nothing dramatic -- nothing "novel-worthy." And it's great! I go to work at a job I've held (and love) for 6 years, kids are healthy and doing well in school. I have good friends. I come home at night, make dinner, do dishes, help with homework, read stories, and go to bed early.It really is the little stuff -- not the big events -- that makes a life. It's amazing.

LOL. Thanks! And yes, drama is for high school -- and I teach high school, so there is enough floating in the air at work. Tonight, I am going to walk to the grocery store to pick up one ingredient I need for dinner, then I'm going to cook. I will do dishes, and hang out with the kiddos.Boring.
