Reading a book. First since October.
Backstory
Diagnosed with a macular hole in the retina of my left eye. Letters collapsed like a Picasso painting. Then the surgery to repair. Did not restore all center vision. Then the stroke. Lost some peripheral vision in the left eye but still had the reading vision. Then the cataracts in both eyes. Surgery left eye. Then surgery right eye. New glasses. Now reading 32 Fangs, a vampire book my sister brought me from her job. I love vampire fiction. I could cry, but I don't want to wet the pages. by Bevvie in Six-Word Memoirs on Sep 20, 2012 |
