My job called at 4 pm yesterday and said I was to report to work today from my injury leave. Some one had changed the 11/11 to 09/11. I was scrambling to get it right to make sure I didn't lose my job for not showing up. What a hassle.
Hassle is an understatement. Errors happen yet to this large scale, totally "unacceptable" in my language. A simple typo can wreak havoc.
I get bills on a regular basis from my energy company, ironic right, with a remittance advice and then collections notice all to find out it was a system generated bill that was sent in error to many of their clients. Then the phone call to clear it up, being on hold, going through the phone prompts, need I say more. This whole process is repeated with many other similar situations. Deep breathing does help me, most times.
So sorry for the extra burden on your part and the short notice, certainly not what you need. All the best to you and glad the end result sounds affirmative.
