This reminds me of The Great Gatsby when Nick ends a chapter with, "I am the most honest person I know."
I love that quote. On the one hand it's ironic because he is far from an honest man, but on the other hand he may be the "most" honest because everyone he knows is constantly lying.
So, is your ego showing, or are you surronded by humorless duds?
@Browniethehamster Wow that is a great quote! Definitely evokes thought. I have yet to read the Great Gatsby, but I'm planning on doing so as soon as possible (it's on my to-read list).
To answer your question...hmm, I don't think either. Well, maybe it might be a little ego-maniacal of me but that's not completely the way I intended it. When I thought of it, I was just poking fun at my own sense of humor and personality. Thanks for your comment and sharing that Gatsby reference :)
these six words leapt out from the sermon I heard in church this morning. Thanks Pastor Jodi. (I attend a Baptist church which has two lady ministers on the pastoral team.)We can live with peace and joy no matter...
