LucidDreamer says,

It is better to just be awake sometimes, isn't it...

marymc says,

After the one last night, I'm afraid to close my eyes.

canadafreeze says,

Sometimes being awake is the better option with a little hot tea and brandy. Soothes the soul.

Hannahmo says,

Hope you have a good dream tonight Mary. :)

LucidDreamer says,

Mary, have you ever tried lucid dreaming? It can help with the nightmares.

marymc says,

I have. Unfortunately, I still see things I don't want to see.

marymc says,

Thank you Hannah. Here's hoping.

LucidDreamer says,

I'm sorry...I know how much that sucks. Hope you get some peace.

Knoxena says,

Thank you. I know what you mean, been having this trouble lately.

ba_miracle says,

Ambeian works for me but Lunesta had an awful and opposite effect.

The very first time I took Ambeian I woke up the next day willing to be hooked. I slept 6 hours and either didn't dream or didn't remember...it was blissful.

favepeep says,

Sorting through life events via dreams/nightmares is a necessary evil. Plus we need that REM sleep. That being said, nightmares are horrific and I hope you get some peace/peace of mind soon. Congrats on the feature.

marymc says,

I was on Ambien briefly. Woke up fully while driving to work, 2 different shoes on my feet. Motrin PM works great, but I'm not willing to risk addiction.
