girlwiththehelmet says,

So true, as it is with any illness.

Dhani says,

Everytime I utter it, it sounds weird, but the best thing that ever happened to me was fall prey to cancer- the rude wake-up call where you are faced with a truly blank slate in life -and all the things in that life that you valued so much and that seemed so important to you, now they become insignificant, in fact you brush them all by the wayside , while you turn to family, loved ones, good doctors and nurses -and if you're a believer like myself you get ahold of a good spiritual book and you also begin an engaging conversation with your Maker, or whatever Name you want to put on Her...

tonyglim says,

Well said, oopsalittle, very well said.
