Small town living has its perks.

Backstory

I ordered tires for my van. Had an appointment for 8 am so they could get put on and I could still get to Zumba class.

However, I get there and Boss Man says the delivery for last night didn't arrive, but it's expected at 9 am.

I sigh because I have a busy day scheduled and this is just not working into it. He looks at me and says "hey, I have a couple cars for sale, take one of those -- go to your exercise class and run your errands. I close at noon so just be back by then."

Thank you !!

Only in a small town. Nice to see that there are people who are trusting like that. That of coarse would never happen in a big city where I live!

Great customer service.

When my grandma died in a small town, I called to have flowers delivered to the funeral home because I couldn't fly to the funeral. When I called the only florist in town, they had opened on Saturday just for my grandma's event/funeral. They did not have the ability to take credit cards. So they said to me, just send a check. And they delivered the flowers BEFORE the check arrived. There really are perks.
