Happy National Towel Day (towelday.org) to all, a day to celebrate the life and work of Douglas Adams. And a day, of course, to remain warm, dry and calm.
Not familiar with Douglas Adams either. Here I thought it meant hide your non-bikini-or-trunk readied bottoms by wearing a towel over it to the beach AND not to panic that the picnics were rained out, just bring a towel. A good read for sure! Thanks for the info.
I just read the Adams books recently, and on Friday, my school's vice-principle announced "Happy Towel Day!" over the intercom with the morning announcements, and I think only my English teacher and I actually understood and got really excited.
these six words leapt out from the sermon I heard in church this morning. Thanks Pastor Jodi. (I attend a Baptist church which has two lady ministers on the pastoral team.)We can live with peace and joy no matter...
