Loving God doesn't mean hating homosexuals.

marymc says,

amen.

PKELLY says,

If Mitt Romney's a guy and God's traditionally depicted as an elderly man with a long white beard - (though I'm not saying God can't possibly be a woman for all equality purposes...I'm up for any interpretation....but for the sake of this argument...) - wouldn't Mitt Romney loving a male God by definition make him a homosexual? Just snowballing here....

marymc says,

Confuse them with logic. I love it.

SingerSomewhere says,

PKELLY, no it doesn't. That's like saying if a son loved his father (in a non-romantic way), he'd be considered homosexual for loving another male. Christians don't love God in a romantic way; they love Him like a father, advisor, and so much more but not as a partner. Therefore, Christians fit the definition of homosexual just as much as a father and son.

PKELLY says,

didn't think of that...romantic love vs. love-love. good point, thanks.
