Backstory

This is kind of what I do all the time through my writing. I give away copies of my books to public libraries. I also randomly give away my poetry/photography postcard designs at poetry readings and to friends. I gave 100 copies of my poem "You Are Loved" to a public school in Milwaukee last year. What if we all brought art and kindness to others on the same day? Some friends and I decided to create, Random Acts of Poetry & Art Day, on February 20, 2012. It is an international artistic pay-it-forward movement, with the purpose of spreading the joy of creation.
