Never feared going against the flow.

Backstory

In middle school, I remember wearing green polka dot tights with a green skirt (that I made into a mini skirt). I also wore a white turtle neck that had green turtles on it. Nope, I did not follow the norm even then. I prefer to write free verse poetry, because there are no restrictions. I would have posted a photo of those green, polka dot tights if I still had them. Instead, this is a photo of Star Island, off the coast of NH, where I often return for an annual retreat for poets and songwriters. It is a place where every artist is granted a safe place to create without rules. Step outside your own comfort zone and create something that goes against the flow!
