bbhead says,

But it helps! I feel unhappy when my pants leave marks on my fleshy tummy. I feel happier when I don't have muffin top. But I hear ya.

RedStickWriter says,

I could have told you. I heard this from George Carlin, though as skinny as he was I'm not sure why he said it: "I'm in shape. Round is a shape." Having been born and raised in Louisiana, where the state mascot is stick butter, I was doomed.

@bbhead: Those marks are to help you remember how long you've been naked. When the marks go away, it's probably time to put something on. I guess it works sort of like those memory foam mattresses.

Sometimes being thinner makes people happy. I know I felt happier after I lost 10 pounds in one week a few years ago...but as one of my memoirs said "24 inch waste, still feel fat", sometimes there is no way to feel "satisfied" with the way you look. But in my opinion true happiness doesn't come from images.

bbhead says,

The Mascot is stick butter - hahahahaha!
10 pounds - in one week? Yowza!

unknown116 says,

After my mom died I put on a lot of weight...well what my opinion of a lot of weight was. I put myself into a sort of state of shock and I couldn't eat sold food for about three months. It wasn't healthy, but I definetly felt better about myself.

Flowergrrrl says,

I'm happier now than I've ever been- I'm also heavier than I've ever been; not sure they are related at all but there it is.

DynamicDbytheC says,

I'm extremely unhappy if I gain weight, yet I am not necessarily happier when I am at peak fitness. Go figure.

unknown116 says,

Dynamic, well said.
