a long, long time ago I had a t-shirt that said 'coors beer, breakfast of champanions" I remember wearing it at camp I was probably 12 but because I am old (and therefor it was a long, long time ago) the pc police never shut me down and I got to feel real sassy. I actually think my dad bought it for me.
haha - I had a friend around the same age you're talking about whose entire wardrobe consisted of sloganed t-shirts that he received for free from the cigarette companies when he/his parents redeemed their cigarette stamps.
I was looking for something else and found this older entry, ct! Just had to comment how much I loved it! I remember a time when I was living in my old city, which I hated, and opening the refrig one morning and seriously doing what your memoir said. Thanks for making me smile today, happy I don't live there anymore and that I routinely have oatmeal for breakfast now. :)
these six words leapt out from the sermon I heard in church this morning. Thanks Pastor Jodi. (I attend a Baptist church which has two lady ministers on the pastoral team.)We can live with peace and joy no matter...
