Love this also. About two months ago, was confused, and mind blanked. Couldn't remember my apartment complex's name to tell taxi driver. Abashed.

Also got lost on vacation, silent retreat so couldn't ask for directions. Went walking. Map was upside down. Stroll morphed into twenty mile hike, in the rain, uphill, for real. That was before GPS and Palm Pilots that had apps. Finally found a resident who drew me a map with landmarks. An experience. I'll leave it at that.

and maybe then you didn't realise that these experiences where finding you because of who you are and not on how your profile looks like. I miss analog times, but love internet.
