marymc says,

I love that you know Pinky and the Brain.

Bevvie says,

I love that you know Pinky and The Brain. My son and I sang that theme song together many a time.

marymc says,

As did my son and I. Loved the Animaniacs too. And Rocko's Modern Life.

Bevvie says,

Don't get me started on the shows that we liked! Thundercats was another one of our favorites! I have always loved cartoons, so it was a given that I would watch them with my son.

marymc says,

Just talked to my boy on the phone. He's hooked on Tom and Jerry! Obviously I watched that, uhmmmm, 45 years ago. I even had a Tom and Jerry puppet with the pull string and they talked. High-tech for 1965.

Bevvie says,

Proud confession: I still watch Jonny Quest and Thundarr the Barbarian.

So, your son likes Tom and Jerry! Great! I'll have to ask my son if he still watches cartoons. I suspect that his time is filled with his babies!

marymc says,

But when those babies discover TV, he'll be back.

Bevvie says,

LOL I'm sure that he will!

Bevvie says,

Forgot to ask son if he remembered watching Pinky and The Brain. Will try to remember to ask him tonight.

catsmeow says,

Please let me join the chorus of Pinky and the Brain lovers. My favorite part (was it the intro or at the end of each episode?): Pinky: "Gee, Brain, what do you want to do tonight?" The Brain: "The same thing we do every night, Pinky—try to take over the world!"

Bevvie says,

Welcome, Cats!

RainhaMom says,

Are you pondering what I'm pondering?

catsmeow says,

I think so, Brain, but why would pancakes be able to fly?

Bevvie says,

Narf!

Bevvie says,

zort!

NoNickname1 says,

Gosh, truly sorry I missed Pinky and The Brain! My two are 9 years apart! Son soon to be 49 loved, loved, loved Mighty Mouse. He sang the theme song, well kinda, from age 2.5 to age 5. His cape was an old pillow case. My daughter now 40 stuck like perverbial glue to Sesame Street. Sunny days, la, la, la age 2 untill 5 or so. Ah great memories.

Bevvie says,

I loved Mighty Mouse. Nice memories of our kids and cartoons.

slotslady2010 says,

I still have Pinky & The Brain, & Animaniacs T-shirts, & DVD's.

Bevvie says,

Lucky you, slotslady2010! Don't you just love them!

Bevvie says,

Troz!

Jomama says,

Deputy Dawg, Mr. Magoo, Rocky and Bullwinkle!

Jomama says,

Kind of more Betty than Veronica!

Bevvie says,

Thanks for adding the cartoons above. Remember them fondly! And definitely more Betty than Veronica. (I have a memoir under Questions about them) Zort!

marymc says,

Does anyone besides me remember Courageous Cat and Minute Mouse? What about Krazy Kat and Ignatz Mouse?

Bevvie says,

Not the first two! But I remember Krazy Kat and Ignatz Mouse.

marymc says,

Oh thank God you do, Bevvie. Was starting to think my childhood was in some alternate universe. Courageous Cat and Minute Mouse were like Batman and Robin. Their arch enemy was "The Frog". He looked and talked just like Edward G. Robinson.

Bevvie says,

If it was, I was in that alternate universe too, cause I remember KK.

lgp120 says,

I've loved Pinky and the Brain forever!! This is awesome!!!

lgp120 says,

Oh and marymc mentioned Animaniacs...loved them too!! Still have my daughters Yacko, Wacko, and Dot dolls!! What a great memory!!!

Bevvie says,

Zort!
