The memories made and recalled and the sensitivity shared among youngster and seniors very similar, at times. Maybe a mix of happy and sad tears, at the same time. Beautifully done!
I should probably clarify a few things. Firstly, (and I hope it doesn't cmompletely ruin the memior for people) I am a high school teacher and meant that I read with my two classes of senior students. I should also mention that I read "Oh, The Places You'll Go", and they weren't crying alone. It is a tradition I started my first year of teaching, and on our last day together, we have a walk down our 180 day memory lane with a booklet I make for them, and I read Seuss to them. All in all, very emtional both happy and sad. I know L2L3.... it's been a long time. I check often, but don't post as much as I did because school and personal have been exceptionally trying this year. School ends this week, and I hope to back to my regular posting/participating self next week. I hope all my old friends are still around and want to "play".
