I did not know what it is and had to look it up on Wikipedia. I'm a seafood lovin' guy from Louisiana, but I'm afraid I'd have to be in another room to avoid gagging. Some people feel the same way about the crawfish loved by my people. I should mention that I don't like those salty little minnows on my pizza. Good memoir, bad menu.

Thanks everyone. It's the only part of hubby's heritage I just can NOT embrace. Of course, my people are known for haggas and head cheese (not that I partake in those either).

The thought just makes me nauseated. No anchovies, sardines, or herring either. Dad tries to occasionally sneak them into his half of pizza but I always smell something fishy. Ewww! Some people love them, more the merrier.
