Found proof, well that really sucks.
Backstory
My teacher, that oversees my government curriculum, and I got in a discussion about discrimination laws and she made the statement that people can't legally be fired for anything other than breaking a code of conduct, to which I pointed out that it's legal for me to be fired in 34 states for being transgender, and 29 if I was only gay. She kept arguing, saying that there is no way that is legal to the point where she ended up saying that if I can prove it with a valid source that I'll get EC points (which would put me at a 4.0). I found them within 10 minutes...I don't know whether to be proud of my knowledge or disgusted that it's actually true.
