Yeah, I feel this way these days. I'm in a little holding pattern. I take care of the details, but each night I ask myself what did I really DO today. For a while now my attention had been on something/someone(s) other than my life. I need to begin to regain my own life, but not exactly sure how or why I feel "stuck". I think I'll take DDC/Thoreau's advice today and just start by simplifying something. Anything. Just to get unstuck.
Sounds like DE and I are in the exact same place. Taking care of someone else and now regaining our life. BTE, just because I quoted Thoreau, doesn't mean I actually do what this brilliant writer suggests. I think that the place you and I are in, has a stuck feeling about it. Maybe coming out of what we just experienced, a person may need to be stuck to take it all in.
these six words leapt out from the sermon I heard in church this morning. Thanks Pastor Jodi. (I attend a Baptist church which has two lady ministers on the pastoral team.)We can live with peace and joy no matter...
