well... there is that but I do believe (and try to practice) the more flies with honey theory. A long time ago someone taught me to think about where I want to be and if I am able to keep my eye on the prize I can keep the monster in my my head from biting off theirs which NEVER gets good results. She literally used to say 'be a hero, do you job' it got much better results than the string of derogatory explication I aimed at them. It's better to be done than to be 'right.'
