Love your memoir! As a longtime librarian, I have firsthand experience with the stereotype of the librarian, which always includes glasses. And since there are books in the background of your photo, that would be an obvious guess. But, if it’s a play on words, are you an ophthalmologist/optometrist/eye surgeon? Or wild guess, biologist/chemist?

Lol. I used to wear glasses and never contacts (it's the other way around now). But back in my glasses days, I found that people assumed I was smarter, and I was treated with more deference. Come to think of it, why did I stop wearing them?!! ;) Congrats on MOTD.

Very cute memoir -- and clever glasses.

kathi_wright says,

Mourningdove says,

Teacher or librarian
