Backstory

I guess my feet are pampered. I regularly soak, lotion, and pumice them. I keep the nails trimmed and polished, and in the winter time, I put warm, dry, clean socks on them. If there's a thin spot or a hole, I toss them and buy a new pair. No big deal. Socks are cheap, relatively speaking.
I changed my mind this morning after listening to a documentary on the homeless. I'll never take my socks for granted ever again.
