That little dog was good-as-gold, realy.

Backstory

Riding on a bus from El-Paso to Pecos Texas, there was a woman going to Florida who had a certified helper dog, wearing the vest and all, and though there were children in the station at El-Paseo who bothered her relentlessly, she was calm and good. On the bus she was silent and stayed at her mistress' feet the entire trip. At Pecos, the station was a convenience store that had a sticker on the door that said "Service dogs welcome". The woman manager of the store blew a gasket when the dog, clearly wearing the Service Dog vest, came in with the woman. It was a scene, and the lady with the dog promised to bring suit against the store... I went on my way searching for the lost gold mine out in Culberson county Texas... but that is a different story.

I want to know more. That's a good sign to the storyteller.
