Six Word Memoirs on Life Stories

Backstory

Everything does change this summer. My parents are moving, so I have to go with them. I will be leaving the only place I remember anything about. My friends will be going off to college and so will I. My twin sister is going to college where my parents are living, but I am going to school in Saint Louis. My best friends are going to school across the state and country. There are so many things changing at one time. I had always thought I would come home from college to where I live now, but that is not so. I can't get my head around calling a new place home, because it won't. It won't be the house with the blue shutters and big back deck that sits across from the rental that normally has sketchy people living there, but finally has nice people there. No more walking to Walmart when the roads are too bad to drive or when it is nice outside. . . I don't see how my military friends can stand moving around all the time, I have only moved a few times and I couldn't stand it. . . but as my mom says it will be a new adventure for all of us and a new start for her and my dad with us out of the house.
