Productive day. Cleaned up memoirs. Namechange.

Backstory

I caught another little cold so stayed in today. Decided to delete some of my old memoirs and change my screen name. Interesting thing about my old memoirs. I deleted a bunch (a lot, so many) from the beginning. Then as I went forward in time, I liked them more and deleted less. In the beginning, they were often like tweets, just about whatever I had done that day. There definitely is a learning curve on this site.

Happy February, everyone! Peace and love to all of you.
--formerly Autumn22, now Dragon Empress, of the soon-to-be famous yodeling* band, ------ drumroll--------
Dragon Empress and the Mountain Goats. (many thanks to BanjoDan for his memoir question, "What would you name your band?" that inspired this cool new name of mine.)

*Also thanks to Dean6805 for his word of the day, which further inspired me to make this totally made up band, a "yodeling" band. Yodeling was word of the day! I am so untalented, it isn't even funny--can't sing, can't dance, can't yodel. About the only thing I can do is type fast! But a typing band just didn't have the same panache!

just remember that I am the Queen.

Dragonflower says,

Learning curve, remember? I promise I won't forget who's who. :)

Staraj says,

Wow! Talk about self-empowerment! From the tranquil season of falling leaves to a fire breathing creature. She is woman, read her roars.

Dragonflower says,

Ha, ha, Staraj, but I don't breath fire. I'm a water dragon, a far less imperious type of Dragon. But I do have the Smith site to thank for the self-empowerment and ability to overcome a most damaging relationship through my writing and the supportive comments. And other memorists sixes. They are often inspiring and transformative.

oopsalittle says,

congrats on achieveing so much!
so you can yodel? wow I love that - one of my son's friends is in the entertainment business and he can yodel. First time I saw it up close and personal was at my son's enGAYgement where he sang- yodelled.it really is an amazing talent!

Dragonflower says,

Oh gosh, no, I can't yodel, I can't sing, or dance. It was the word of the day not that long ago and my memoir was "My new band will totally yodel" I didn't mean to mislead in my backstory. What a talent you truly must have to yodel! There was a guy at a fundraiser for the cancer event held every year, who yodeled. Amazing!!

Thanks for your comment.I feel I have achieved so much since joining Smith! And I'll clarify my backstory, so as not to be misleading, untalented as I am!

jl333 says,

Congrats on all the changes

catsmeow says,

OK, DE, change acknowledged. Looking forward to new Sixes with new name.

oopsalittle says,

hahaha - I've obviously missed some memoirs.
I'm still impressed with all you've achieved :)
