As I was typing my memoir and being of wicked mind, I realized it might need some clarification—I am on a soft diet for a week due to dental surgery and living on soup and eggs really sucks…
Mashed potatoes and gravy.
Tuna or chicken salad.
Yogurt.
Applesauce or any of those Buddy fruit pouches -- pureed fruits in a squeeze pouch (my teenaged daughter loves to take them in her lunch box).
Fruit smoothies -- just avoid seedy berries.
Elvis smoothie (3 or 4 cubes of ice, chocolate milk (reg or soy), protein powder (optional), banana, and a dollop of peanut butter).
An arm roast covered in Coke cooked in the crock pot is very tender. Sloppy joes.
Hummus.
Mashed potatoes and gravy.

Favepeep...I just had to do the same thing for 10 days due to dental surgery. I had no idea how I was going to survive that long on soft foods. And to be honest...I was tired of the food by day two. I had lots of mashed potatoes, applesauce, and yogurt. Best of luck to you. I wish you a speedy recovery.
these six words leapt out from the sermon I heard in church this morning. Thanks Pastor Jodi. (I attend a Baptist church which has two lady ministers on the pastoral team.)We can live with peace and joy no matter...
