Teacher becomes student, won't stop learning

Backstory

My students are involved in a 6 word memoir lesson I created. They have made me laugh, they have made me cry. They amaze me. It is push and pull, give and take and in the end, we all learn. My favorite comment of the day was " I saw that on instagram this weekend". In other words, one of my little peeps chose to share her work that she wrote in class on Friday. No extra credit, no HW assignment....she just was so excited about her creation she wanted to spread the word. Awesome!

And a close second to my favorite was this gem...."My new seat, under her nose-hair" This as a result of "redirection" given to an off task student who was asked to move his seat:)
