I have had blogging on my todo list for a while, too! What stops me is wondering if people still blog, my spam phobia (ie comments management), and what site to use. Also, cost to avoid ads on the blog. If I allow ads, do I have control at all of which ads?
I think it could be a good creative outlet, and I have enjoyed reading people's blogs, but don't follow any now. One of my writing group facilitators started a blog and I liked it at first, but then her daughter had a baby and it just got too personal and family oriented for me. Another one I liked was someone I met at a book signing, she did grief counseling. Her entries were good, but also turned too personal about her own grief. So I stopped reading hers too. In both those cases, I just felt I was intruding on their lives. Plus they didn't respond much to comments, just thanks for your comment. Not very interactive.
these six words leapt out from the sermon I heard in church this morning. Thanks Pastor Jodi. (I attend a Baptist church which has two lady ministers on the pastoral team.)We can live with peace and joy no matter...

I agree with jl333 - go for it! But, what's the wondering? What are your options for a focus?Dragonflower says,
